Season of Fire from the Passenger Seat utilises broken slabs of tarmac, ripped posters and car parts scavenged from the side of the road. Working with the bold qualities of their breaks and rough edges, Davidson articulates the materials as metaphors to embody sensations of trauma and violence from the perspective of a spectator and passer-by.
